 Amid the technical work, I decided a post-graduate sociology degree in communication might help. I was granted my M.A. in Professional Communication from Royal Roads University in 2008. No matter that I was never actually hired as a professional communicator or organizational consultant, I use these powerful perspectives constantly.  After a final year of working for the SSC CIO and in customer operations, I'm now "officially" retired from full-time work but still pursing professional interests. I work for Professional and Continuing Studies of Royal Roads University delivering a data management course for their Professional Project Administrator micro-credential program, and I continue to offer myself as a business consulting resource. Amid these pursuits, I employ generative AI tools for fun and profit.
